Australian Psychology Educators Network EPC Satellite Meeting

Session A: 2:00-5:00 pm, University of Western Australia, Perth
Session B: 6:30-8:30 pm, Alfresco Restaurant/Bar, Tradewinds Hotel, Fremantle

SESSION A

When:  2:00-5:00 pm
Where: UWA Psychology Building, Room 2.20 (Hackett entrance number 2 if coming by taxi from the airport - it's a long walk from the main campus entrance).

What: This will be a relatively informal meeting with three sections:

  1. Brief reports of research into learning and teaching in psychology
  2. Reports on current learning and teaching funded (eg by Carrick,
    University) projects
  3. Sharing of your current good practice

Note: Your presentation should not be more than 10 minutes long.
Full data-projection facilities will be available.

SESSION B

When:  6:30-8:30pm
Where:  Alfresco Restaurant/Bar, Tradewinds Hotel, Fremantle

What: This will be a very informal dinner meeting where you will be expected to
talk for a few minutes on your activities in at least one of these categories:

  1. Brief reports of research into learning and teaching in psychology
  2. Reports on current learning and teaching funded (eg by Carrick,
    University) projects
  3. Sharing of your current good practice

If you have already given a presentation in Session A, you may or may not be
asked to repeat yourself briefly in this Session!

Whatever Session you are presenting in, please bring 20+ brief handouts.

If you are interested in presenting in either Session A or Session B, please
email l.cohen@ecu.edu.au with your name, which Session (A or B),
presentation title, and which section (1,2 or 3 as above) by March 10.
