The next annual meeting of the Australasian Society for Experimental Psychology will be held at the usual annual landmark: the weekend after Easter. However Easter is early in 2008 and so
Conference dates: 28th - 30th March.
Conference location: the Tradewinds Hotel in Fremantle.
This is a small convention centre with good quality accommodation. We have chosen this location because, in the tradition of the conference, we wished to keep costs to a reasonable level for student participants. The rooms will sleep either 2 (most rooms) or 4 people (two bedroom) in comfort and, if shared, represent quite cheap accommodation that can be self-catered if desired.
Please note: we have had a larger number of registrations than anticipated and as a consequence have moved the conference dinner to a larger venue on the Tradewinds site. We still anticipate an excellent event.
Abstract submission: has now closed. The online payment system can still be accessed using this link but please finalise all payments as soon as possible. If you wish to arrange an alternative method of payment please email Ann Deveson-Kelly (ann@psy.uwa.edu.au).
The conference will employ the usual format of either 20 mintues talk (+10 minutes question time) or a poster presentation. The poster boards will easily allow paper sizes up to A0 and the posters should be attached using velcro.
Registration costs:
Full ($230), Student ($110)
Dinner: Full ($70), Student ($40), Guests ($70)
ATTENTION: Australian Psychology Educators Network, EPC Satellite Meeting. This meeting will be held the day before EPC08 and is of direct interest to those teaching in Psychology.
